Emailing Prescription Requests

We now have a new, seperate, email address solely for prescription requests. The email address is as follows:

nencicb-cd.prescriptionrequestsacriston@nhs.net

Please ensure the email includes your name, date of birth and the medication that you require and this will be processed within the normal time frame.

Ordering (Repeat) Medication

Ordering Your Repeat Medication

You can order your medication via the telephone between the hours of 10am and 3pm, Monday - Friday, ONLY if you do not have access to online services.

Alternatively, you can order your medication via our new generic email address dedicated to prescription requests only:

cdccg.prescriptionrequestsacriston@nhs.net

You will still be able to leave medication requests in the box in the entrance foyer (subject to social distancing).

You can also order medication through Online Access via our practice website: www.sacristonsurgery.co.uk

To do this, you first need to contact Reception, in order to get a user account set up.

PLEASE allow for 2 working days for the practice to process your request, and - we understand - 3 working days for local pharmacies to process what the practice send them. That is, allow for minimum 5 working days before you need medication (some requests, e.g. medical appliances, may take longer to process).

Repeat Medication Ordering

Please click on the ordering medication button on the home screen.

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

We are encouraging patients to have their prescriptions sent electronically to their nominated pharmacy. This means you will go straight to the pharmacy to collect your medication, without needing to come to the surgery first to collect the prescription. This is called the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).

All you have to do is tell Reception you want to do this, and nominate the pharmacy of your choice.

Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.

You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.

Read more about EPS on the NHS website.
